Greetings friends of Steemit! Today I want to make a special post and unite two arts so different and so complementary to each other. It is about poetry and music, which come together in a single perfect being in the madrigal “Velero Mundo”.
The author of this work is called Francisco Lares Granados, better known as El Poeta del Mar in his beloved Isla de Margarita, which inspired his most sublime works. Inspired by the sea, he left as a legacy to Venezuela important poems such as Cuaderno del Mar, Sobre el Caballo del Mar and Grímpolas, among others.
In the way that the rose points
from a sowing sower the plow sounds.
And the vigil among the night announces
the feverish presence of the startle.
I go on my site, on the world sailing ship
dress of silence and your name
with instinct untied
of fierce struggle that life imposes.
Cut lymph whips my flesh
rocked by brackish ebriadades
the surrounding gloom
gusts of light, while my soul
of your love in the divine flame
he paints the temper of his marine faith.
Master Modesta Bor, one of the most important musicians in Venezuela, especially for her work in choral music, made one of her most virtuoso four-voice arrangements for a mixed choir with this poem. Highlighting, as in all his works, the melody, which divides mainly between the voices of soprano and baritone, and drawing with ornaments the beautiful lyrics of poetry.
Next, I will share with you in the following video the union of these great artists in the choral arrangement of Master Modesta Bor of poetry Velero Mundo by Francisco Lárez. The group that interprets the work is called Cantarte and is directed by Maestro Cesar Alejandro Carrillo.
I hope you enjoyed this information that I share in this post. The main image belongs to the BlogNautal website and was edited by me with the PhotoDirector 2018 application. I only have to say goodbye and have your digital presence for my next publications. See you later!
